Description
Fresh homemade peach syrup made with ripe peaches, sugar, and water. Perfect for drinks, pancakes, cocktails, tea, desserts, and more.
Ingredients

- 1½ pounds fresh peaches
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Wash and slice or dice the peaches.
- Place peaches into a medium saucepan.
- Add water and sugar.
- Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Cook for 15 to 20 minutes while mashing the peaches until softened.
- Remove from heat and cool for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Strain through a fine mesh strainer.
- Store in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Peeling peaches is optional.
- Frozen peaches may be substituted.
- Syrup thickens as it cools.
- Store refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
- Freeze for longer storage.
