Description
These Peaches and Cream Popsicles are creamy, fruity, and refreshing with real peaches, cream, vanilla, and a touch of cornstarch for a smooth frozen texture.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups sliced peaches, fresh or frozen
- 1 1/4 cups whipping cream, or coconut cream for dairy free
- 1/2 cup whole milk, or almond milk for dairy free
- 3 to 4 tablespoons sugar, or favorite sweetener
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Add the peaches, whipping cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cornstarch to a blender.
- Blend until the mixture looks smooth, creamy, and pourable.
- If the mixture seems too thick to pour, add more milk 1 tablespoon at a time until it loosens.
- Pour the mixture evenly into popsicle molds, leaving a little room at the top for expansion.
- Insert popsicle sticks and secure the mold lids.
- Freeze for 4 to 6 hours, or until the popsicles are fully firm.
- Run the molds briefly under warm water to release the popsicles.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
- Cornstarch helps keep the popsicles creamy and reduces iciness.
- Use a funnel or measuring cup with a spout to fill the molds neatly.
- Serving yield may vary based on the size of your popsicle molds.
- For a stronger peach-orange color, add 1 to 2 drops of orange food coloring.
- For a dairy-free version, use coconut cream and almond milk.
