Description

Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteak Sliders with tender beef, peppers, onions, and melted cheese baked on soft rolls.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • Provolone or American cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook ground beef, onion, and green pepper in a skillet until browned.
  3. Whisk ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, cornstarch, broth, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir sauce into beef and cook until thickened.
  5. Slice rolls and place bottoms in baking dish.
  6. Spread beef mixture over rolls and add cheese.
  7. Top with rolls and brush with garlic butter.
  8. Cover and bake for 20 minutes until melted.

Notes

  1. Let sliders rest before slicing.
  2. Use provolone or American cheese for best melt.
