Description
Tender slow-cooked pulled beef sandwich packed with smoky flavor and topped with barbecue sauce.
Ingredients
3–4 lbs beef chuck roast
1 large onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
6–8 sandwich buns
Optional: pickles, coleslaw, sliced onions
Instructions
1. Season beef with salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin.
2. Place onions and garlic in bottom of slow cooker.
3. Add beef, broth, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar.
4. Cook on low 8-10 hours or until tender.
5. Remove and shred beef with forks.
6. Return shredded beef to juices and mix.
7. Toast buns if desired.
8. Assemble sandwiches with beef and toppings.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or chili flakes.
Store leftovers up to 3 days refrigerated or 3 months frozen.
