Description

These cheesy, salty quesadilla crisps are perfect party fare and reheat quickly for easy entertaining.

Ingredients

  • Street taco size flour tortillas
  • Grated cheddar cheese
  • Grated jalapeno jack cheese
  • Diced green chilies, drained
  • Diced onion
  • Melted butter
  • Coarse kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and combine cheese, chilies, and onion in a bowl.
  2. Brush baking sheet with melted butter and sprinkle with coarse salt.
  3. Arrange tortillas on sheet and top each with cheese mixture.
  4. Bake until cheese melts, then fold tortillas in half and press gently.
  5. Cool or reheat as needed, slice into wedges, and serve warm.

Notes

  1. These quesadilla crisps can be made ahead and reheated just before serving.
  2. Freshly grated cheese melts more evenly than pre-shredded cheese.
