Description

Ranch Pretzel Snack Mix combines crunchy mini pretzels, cheddar Goldfish crackers, and oyster crackers with a tangy ranch, dill, garlic, and lemon pepper coating. It is an easy baked appetizer or party snack that comes together in only 24 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 packets ranch dressing seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 cups mini pretzels
  • 4 cups cheddar Goldfish crackers
  • 4 cups oyster crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add the mini pretzels, cheddar Goldfish crackers, and oyster crackers to a large mixing bowl. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Whisk the vegetable oil, ranch dressing seasoning, dill weed, lemon pepper seasoning, and garlic powder in a small bowl until evenly blended.
  4. Slowly drizzle the seasoned oil over the cracker mixture while gently folding the pieces from the bottom upward.
  5. Continue stirring until every pretzel and cracker carries a light, even coating.
  6. Spread the coated snack mix across the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring gently halfway through the baking time.
  8. Remove the pan when the coating smells fragrant and feels mostly dry.
  9. Cool the snack mix completely on the baking sheet before serving or storing it in an airtight container.

Notes

  1. Use a large bowl with extra room so you can coat the crackers without crushing them.
  2. Divide the mixture between two baking sheets when one pan feels crowded.
  3. Let the snack mix cool completely before storage so trapped steam does not soften the crackers.
  4. Store the cooled mix in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to one week.
  5. Replace Goldfish crackers with an equal amount of small cheese crackers, mini saltines, or rice cereal squares when needed.
  6. For richer flavor, replace half of the vegetable oil with melted unsalted butter.
