Description

Roast beef and cheddar sliders packed with melted cheese, sweet onions, and warm Hawaiian rolls.


Ingredients

Scale

1 package of Kings Hawaiian Sweet rolls

1 pound roast beef

1 large yellow onion

12 slices cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons BBQ sauce

1 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Cut yellow onion into thin half moon slices and sauté over medium low heat with olive oil for 20 minutes. Add salt and pepper.

2. Split Hawaiian rolls lengthwise and place bottoms on a baking sheet.

3. Add 6 slices cheddar cheese to the bottom rolls and brush with BBQ sauce.

4. Layer roast beef and caramelized onions over the cheese.

5. Add remaining cheddar slices and top buns.

6. Brush melted butter over the tops and sprinkle everything bagel seasoning.

7. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until cheese melts and tops are golden.

8. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Caramelize onions ahead to speed prep.

Use extra roast beef for thicker sliders.
