Description

Creamy Rotel Dip made with Velveeta, ground beef, and taco seasoning. Ready in just 15 minutes and perfect for parties, game days, and easy snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 16 ounces Velveeta, cubed
  • 10 ounces Rotel, undrained

Instructions

  1. Place a large skillet on the stove over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ground beef, crumble it, and cook until no longer pink, then drain the grease.
  3. Return the skillet to medium heat.
  4. Add the taco seasoning, cubed Velveeta, and the entire can of Rotel.
  5. Stir constantly until the cheese is fully melted and the dip is smooth and creamy.
  6. Serve immediately or transfer to a slow cooker set to warm for up to 6 hours.

Notes

  1. This recipe is naturally gluten free when made with gluten-free taco seasoning.
  2. The dip can be made without meat using just Velveeta and Rotel.
  3. Soy chorizo works well as a vegetarian substitute.
  4. Use hot Rotel for a spicier dip.
  5. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 6 days.
