Ingredients

1 pound breakfast sausage, crumbled

1 bag (20 oz) frozen hash browns, thawed

8 large eggs

1 cup milk (240ml)

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (170g)

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

Optional: bell peppers, spinach, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Cook sausage until browned; drain grease.

3. Spread hash browns evenly in dish.

4. Sprinkle sausage over hash browns.

5. Whisk eggs, milk, and seasonings; pour over sausage layer.

6. Top with cheese and bake 35–40 minutes until golden.

7. Cool 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Thaw and pat dry hash browns before baking.
