Description

Crispy shrimp nori appetizer made with fresh shrimp, vegetables, and toasted seaweed for a quick savory starter.


Ingredients

  • Raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Finely grated carrot
  • Canned corn kernels, drained
  • Cornstarch
  • Chopped green onions
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Nori sheets
  • Sesame seeds
  • Neutral oil

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the shrimp until a coarse paste forms
  2. Mix shrimp with carrot, corn, cornstarch, green onions, salt, and pepper
  3. Cut nori sheets into appetizer-size pieces
  4. Spread shrimp mixture evenly over nori
  5. Cook shrimp-side down in a lightly oiled skillet until golden, then flip briefly
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve warm

Notes

  1. Do not overprocess the shrimp
  2. Add garlic or soy sauce for extra flavor
