Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak Meatballs are an easy, cozy comfort food dinner featuring tender meatballs simmered in a savory brown gravy with onion soup mix, ketchup, and Worcestershire. Perfect over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles for a family-friendly crockpot meal that practically cooks itself.
Ingredients

1 bag (26 oz / 740 g) frozen meatballs (about 30–35 pieces)

2 cups (480 ml) reduced-sodium beef broth

1 packet (28 g) brown gravy mix

1 packet (28 g) onion soup mix

2 tbsp (30 ml) ketchup

1 tbsp (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp (16 g) cornstarch

2 tbsp (30 ml) cold water

Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Spray slow cooker insert with nonstick spray.
- Add frozen meatballs directly into the crockpot.
- In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, gravy mix, onion soup mix, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour over meatballs, stirring gently to coat.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours.
- About 10 minutes before serving, whisk cornstarch with cold water, then stir the slurry into the crockpot. Cover and let it thicken.
- Serve warm over mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice. Garnish with parsley.
Notes
Store-bought frozen meatballs save time, but homemade ones can be used (brown first).
Add extra cornstarch slurry for thicker gravy.
For deeper flavor, add a splash of red wine.
Scales easily for potlucks or larger gatherings.
Freeze base in single-serve portions for easy reheating.
