Description

Snickers Caramel Apple Salad is the perfect combination of creamy, crunchy, chewy, and fruity. This dessert salad mixes juicy apples, rich caramel, Snickers chunks, and a silky whipped pudding base to create a deliciously nostalgic treat. It’s easy to make, crowd-pleasing, and great for any occasion, from family dinners to potlucks and parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large Granny Smith apples (or Honeycrisp, Fuji, or a mix)

  • 4 Snickers bars, chopped into bite-sized pieces

  • 1 (3.4 oz) package of instant vanilla pudding mix

  • 1 cup cold milk

  • 1 (8 oz) tub of whipped topping (or homemade whipped cream)

  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • Optional: mini marshmallows, chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts), or crushed graham crackers

Instructions

  • Wash the apples and dry them. Cut into small bite-sized cubes.

  • Chop the Snickers bars into small pieces, keeping them cold to make them easier to cut.

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk for 1-2 minutes until thickened.

  • Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.

  • Add in the chopped apples and Snickers. Gently fold to coat them evenly with the pudding mixture.

  • Add optional ingredients, like mini marshmallows or chopped nuts, and mix gently.

  • Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top. You can also mix some into the salad before serving if preferred.

  • Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

If you prefer a tangy flavor, try adding a bit of lemon juice to the apples to prevent browning.

For a healthier version, use sugar-free pudding mix and light whipped topping.

Add more fruit like grapes or strawberries for a fresh twist.
