Scale
  • 8 to 10 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup whole milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1/2 pound Velveeta cheese
  • 8 ounces shredded Colby-Jack cheese
  • 4 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil
  3. Cook macaroni until just al dente
  4. Drain macaroni and transfer to a greased baking dish
  5. Whisk milk, evaporated milk, eggs, salt, pepper, and sugar
  6. Pour custard mixture over macaroni
  7. Add butter, sour cream, and cheeses
