Description

Football-shaped breadsticks stuffed with creamy spinach dip, baked until golden and perfect for game day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 6 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 tube refrigerated thin crust pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Beat cream cheese until smooth, then mix in spinach and seasonings.
  3. Stir in Parmesan and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  4. Roll out pizza dough and spread spinach dip evenly over the surface.
  5. Fold dough to enclose filling and seal edges.
  6. Bake for about 22 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Brush with melted butter and add remaining mozzarella if desired.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  1. Drain spinach very well to prevent soggy breadsticks.
  2. Seal dough edges tightly to keep filling inside while baking.
  3. Reheat leftovers in the oven for best texture.
