Description

These Sriracha Honey Salmon Bowls combine sweet, spicy, and savory flavors with tender glazed salmon, jasmine rice, and roasted cauliflower for an easy dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets or 1 pound salmon cut into cubes
  • 3 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together sriracha sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic, lime juice, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  3. Coat the salmon with half of the marinade and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  4. Toss cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then spread on the baking sheet.
  5. Roast cauliflower for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and crisp.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a small amount of oil.
  7. Cook salmon for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until caramelized and cooked through.
  8. Pour the reserved sauce into the skillet and simmer until thickened.
  9. Divide cooked rice into bowls and top with roasted cauliflower and glazed salmon.
  10. Garnish with green onions, cilantro, and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  1. Pat the salmon dry before marinating for better caramelization.
  2. Do not overcrowd the skillet while cooking the salmon.
  3. Add extra sriracha if you prefer a spicier bowl.
  4. Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 3 days.
