Description

This Strawberry Valentine’s Chex Mix has Very Berry Cheerios, Chex Mix, pretzels, and freeze dried strawberries coated in white chocolate and topped with cute Valentine’s sprinkles. Strawberries and cream flavors come together in this adorable, festive and fruity snack mix that can easily be gluten and dairy free.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups Chex cereal (I used rice Chex)

3 cups Very Berry Cheerios

2 cups pretzel twists or sticks, broken up (regular or gluten free)

1 oz bag (1 1/4 cups) freeze dried strawberries

9 oz white chocolate (regular or dairy free)

1 Tablespoon coconut oil

Sprinkles, for topping

Instructions

1. Add the Chex, Cheerios, pretzels and freeze dried strawberries to a large bowl and mix together. Set aside.

2. Melt the white chocolate and coconut oil by your preferred method.

3. Pour the white chocolate over the mix and stir together making sure to coat all the pieces.

4. Fold in sprinkles and any other add-in’s you’d like.

5. Spread into an even layer on a parchment lined baking sheet. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or until set.

6. Break into pieces and enjoy!

Notes

Chill fully before breaking to keep clusters intact.

Use gluten-free cereal and pretzels for an allergy-friendly version.
