Description

These Pepperoni Pizza Sliders are a fun and delicious twist on classic pizza, perfect for parties, game nights, or quick dinners! Made with soft Hawaiian rolls, marinara sauce, melty mozzarella cheese, and crispy pepperoni, these sliders are brushed with a garlic butter topping for an extra burst of flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 24 slices pepperoni
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or fresh, chopped)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Slice the rolls in half horizontally (keeping them attached) and place the bottom half in the baking dish.
  • Spread marinara sauce evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
  • Layer with cheese by sprinkling half of the shredded mozzarella over the sauce.
  • Add pepperoni slices evenly across the rolls.
  • Top with the remaining cheese and sprinkle red pepper flakes and Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
  • Place the top half of the rolls back on and press down gently.
  • Prepare garlic butter topping by mixing melted butter, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, and parsley.
  • Brush the butter mixture generously over the top of the rolls.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Then, remove foil and bake for another 5-7 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then cut and serve warm!

Notes

  • You can use turkey pepperoni or veggie pepperoni for a lighter option.
  • Try adding sliced olives, mushrooms, or cooked sausage for extra toppings.
  • Serve with extra marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
