Description

Turkish pasta layered with garlic yogurt, spiced minced meat, and paprika butter creates a hearty and satisfying dinner.


Ingredients

  • 9 ounces dry pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small yellow onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 10.5 ounces ground beef or lamb
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • Fresh parsley
  • Feta cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente
  2. Cook onion in olive oil until soft
  3. Add garlic and cook briefly
  4. Brown the ground meat
  5. Add spices and tomato paste
  6. Mix yogurt, garlic, and lemon juice
  7. Melt butter and stir in paprika
  8. Assemble yogurt, pasta, meat sauce, and toppings
