Description

Wafer Pencil Cookies are adorable, no-bake back-to-school treats made with vanilla wafer cookies, melted chocolate, and mini chocolate chips. Shaped to look like real pencils, these sweet snacks are fun to make and perfect for lunchboxes, classroom parties, or teacher gifts. Quick, creative, and irresistibly cute!

Ingredients

  • Vanilla wafer cookies (e.g., Voortman brand)

  • Bright white chocolate melting wafers

  • Light pink chocolate melting wafers

  • Mini chocolate chips

  • Piping bags and piping tips (#5 or #3 recommended)

Instructions

  • Trim one end of each wafer into a pencil tip by slicing off both corners.

  • Melt the white and pink chocolate wafers separately according to package instructions.

  • Fill piping bags with melted chocolates. Use small piping tips for precision.

  • Pipe pink chocolate on the flat end to form the eraser. Smooth gently.

  • Pipe white chocolate onto the pointed end in a triangle shape to mimic the pencil wood.

  • Press a mini chocolate chip into the white chocolate to form the pencil lead.

  • Let the chocolate set fully. Serve or package as desired.

Notes

Work in small batches to prevent chocolate from hardening during decorating.

Use food coloring to tint white chocolate if pink wafers aren’t available.

Great DIY snack craft for kids and classroom parties.

Makes a charming teacher gift when packaged in treat bags.
