Description

Crockpot Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is a creamy, comforting slow cooker dinner that brings together tender shredded chicken, a rich garlic-Parmesan sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta. It’s a low-effort, high-reward meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights or feeding a crowd.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 680 g (1.5 lbs) boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 tsp (2.5 g) garlic powder

  • 1 tsp (2.5 g) onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp (1 g) black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp (1.5 g) salt

  • 480 ml (2 cups) chicken broth

  • 100 g (1 cup) grated Parmesan cheese

  • 225 g (8 oz) cream cheese, cubed and softened

  • 1 tbsp (15 g) minced garlic

  • 340 g (12 oz) pasta – penne, rotini, or preferred

  • 120 ml (1/2 cup) heavy cream or half-and-half

  • Optional: chopped parsley or extra Parmesan for garnish

Instructions

  • Place chicken in the Crockpot. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Add chicken broth, Parmesan, cream cheese, and minced garlic on top.

  • Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours.

  • Once cooked, shred chicken with forks and stir into sauce.

  • Cook pasta separately according to package instructions; drain.

  • Add cooked pasta and heavy cream to the Crockpot. Stir until creamy and fully coated.

  • Garnish with parsley or extra Parmesan. Serve warm.

Notes

Cube cream cheese to help it melt smoothly.

Add spinach or steamed broccoli for extra veggies.

For thinner sauce, add a splash of milk or broth.

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.

Freeze without pasta and add fresh when reheating for best texture.
